It's owner, Andy von Busse is an active member of the business community, serving on the board of the Northern Alberta Business Incubator (NABI), St. Albert Economic Development Advisory Committee (SAEDAC) and as past treasurer of the West Edmonton Business Association (WEBA). He is also an active member of the St. Albert Saint City Rotary Club.
He has a long-standing passion for conservation issues, and currently sits on the provincial Endangered Species Conservation Committee (ESCC) and has since it's inception in 1998. He is and has been the the finance chair for the Antelope Creek Habitat Development Area since 2000. Also known as Antelope Creek Ranch, this is a unique joint venture of a 6000 acre ranch near Brooks, Alberta, with the partners being the Alberta Fish and Game Association, the Provincial Government, Ducks Unlimited and Wildlife Habitat Canada.
He is a past president and life member of the Alberta Fish and Game Association (AFGA), was a founding director and vice-chair of the Alberta Conservation Association (ACA), and served for two terms as a director of the Canadian Wildlife Federation (CWF).
